On the occasion of the Open Day at the experimental cherry orchard curated by Salvi Vivai – in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture and Valagro – Advice&Consulting organized a visit by the delegation of the Moldova Fruct Association, leader in the production of quality fruit in Moldova.

The Moldovan fruit growers visited the full-optional orchard dedicated to Sweets, the varieties studied and patented by the University of Bologna, which tasted and compared in a sensory analysis of 6 different cultivars. At the Salvi nursery, they were able to touch the seedlings of certified and virus free cherries, and deepen the advanced cultivation technologies.

The goal of Advice&Consulting is to offer innovative solutions for the entire agri-food chain, so the next day the program continued with the visit of Unitec, A&C partner in the design and production of calibration and packaging lines. At Agrointesa, the Moldova Fruct delegation visited “Cherry Vision 3“, the latest generation technological system for grading cherries, with a capacity of 4 tonnes. A Vignola, home to native cherries of great organoleptic value, has visited a cherry orchard with an anti-rain system of more than 20 years, a proof of the high quality and efficiency of the made in Italy plants that last over time.

To conclude, on the last day, the Moldovan delegation went to Cesena, to an apricot producer, where he visited the intensive system and had the opportunity to discuss production and sale technologies.
