The group courses in agronomic training are held a tour headquarters by university lecturers and expert agronomists. They include a theory section, held in the classroom, and a practical part, which takes place at nurseries, Global Cap certified farms and experimental fields, where trainees can practice their pruning skills.
The courses on offer cover the planning of intensive orchards, the main diseases among fruit growing plants, the water management, pruning techniques for different varieties, how to select quality plants, the correct use of sprayers and the best way to harvest and store fruit among other topics.
